>NOTE So is 64NET v1.xx (under public license grant)!
News
23May2002 Okay, so it isn't real new news. 64net/2 development now lives on
sourceforge at http://www.sf.net/projects/c64net
64net v1.xx is now free - download the free key file from the 64net v1.xx page http://hld.c64.org/64net
30Jun1998 - '64sh' is born. 64sh is a standalone 64net/2
"command channel". It lets you directly enter disk commands, and get
directories and stuff like that. Currently no documentation exists for it.
It currently supports directly entering disk commands, or getting a
directory by prefixing a line with $, or getting the listing of a programme
by prefixing the name with an @. Almost all CMD style commands are
supported.
64net/2 will now compile on sparc-solaris (binaries in the dists directory)
Downloading
You can download 64NET/2 source code from hld.c64.org
Now that 64NET/2 is free, and the source code is also freely distributable,
i indend to sponsor the completion of the 64NET/2 project. This will
require the help of programmers, system designers, naggers etc.
If you would like to be in on this, please mail
me.
64NET/2 Development team
Look for this info on source forge now at http://www.sf.net/projects/c64net/
64NET/2 Documentation
Some of this stuff is quite useless for mere mortals. If you have
some spare time, why not join the documentation team!
The very old and out of date 64NET/2 documentation is in
here, more up-to-date stuff might be on source forge
